Content Operations Engineer

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to take the lead in developing and supporting cloud-based media operations for a well known global content owner.

You’ll work with key broadcast IT systems and content supply chains, contributing to post-production processes and ensuring seamless operations across household-name channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain cloud monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting tools.
• Write specifications, tests, and technical documentation.
• Lead MAM system and post-production support.
• Develop and enhance Python-based applications.
• Collaborate on software projects using Git.
• Conduct root cause analysis and manage vendor relationships.
• Prioritize team tasks and provide exceptional end-user support.

Essential Skills:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Expertise in broadcast IT systems, cloud computing, and Content Orchestration Tools
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience transforming architectural designs into cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Advanced certifications in ITIL, Project management and Cloud Platforms (Ideally AWS)
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Signiant file delivery, and asset management systems.
• Knowledge of IT service management, NAS storage, LTO archives, and video formats.
