Looking for a passionate, dedicated and content-obsessed Social Media Specialist to join the UK team on a freelance basis for four months, as the client bring viewers the very best in real-life entertainment through brands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the organisation UK social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok); daily tasks to include drafting content calendars in-line with marketing priorities, sourcing and producing social content, copywriting and scheduling the content.

  • Work closely with the wider marketing and creative teams, to populate the content calendar and ensure assets are delivered on time.

  • Brief social editor to create ‘sticky’ short-form videos that will generate views and ultimately funnel viewers to our D2C products

  • Encourage brand engagement in social spaces, turn followers into subscribers, through conversation and content. Build advocates through communities & existing interest groups e.g. Food, Motoring, Weddings, Paranormal and True Crime.

  • Act as a key brand ambassador for the company.

  • Keep up to date with emerging content trends, platform tools etc. to ensure the content produced is evolving in line with the industry

  • Embrace organisation's values “Power Peoples Passions”.

Requirements:

  • Know what works on different social media channels with an ability to identify “sticky” short-form video content, adapt/edit for different social and digital platforms e.g. Instagram vs TikTok vs Twitter vs Food Network’s website.

  • A keen eye for detail with a high standard of spelling, punctuation and grammar.

  • Of the Network UK flagship brands.

  • Of the broadcast, media and digital industries.

  • Demonstrates good consumer understanding and insights.

This is a four-month contract to work on the upcoming shows in reality, true crime and paranormal as well as any sports events

Remote with at least once a week in Chiswick Office
