You, Our Star Player

You have a knack for suggesting improvements in processes, team performance and understand how to self-manage and priortize tasks. With 2 years of Project Management experience in a SCRUM environment you have the power to transform business requirements and data into crystal-clear user stories and documentation for all user groups. You are proactive, with stellar interpersonal skills, and sharp attention to detail. You have professional experience in the Software Development Cycles and solid understanding of Windows application development and technologies. Ideally, you’ve used AZUR DevOps, because we’re in the cloud.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

• Managing our Evolve CRM/Policy Applications (70%)
• Dive deep into the Evolve application and 3rd party sub-systems, exploring its features and uncovering hidden business values; Keep a close eye on the progress of backlog items during sprints.
• Own the product backlog: Turn feature requests into golden opportunities within the backlog while grooming and prioritizing the product backlog like a pro.
• Be the bridge between stakeholders and our amazing tech team: Regularly meet with stakeholders to understand their needs.

Scrum Methodology (30%)

• Be the go-to person for our awesome tech team, answering questions and providing guidance; Act as the liaison between stakeholders and our talented scrum team.
• Define and communicate sprint goals, setting the stage for success; Share reporting, data analysis and documentation.
• Attend our daily team stand-ups and be part of the action. sprint planning and refinement meetings.
• Collaborate with our Scrum Master to make agile processes even better; Participate in sprint retrospectives, always looking for ways to improve.

Nice to haves:

• Post-Secondary qualifications in software engineering, computer science, or related fields, or industry experience.
• Experience in the insurance or financial industry.
• Familiarity with AWS, Containers, Dockers, and cloud technology.
• PSPO/CSPO certification or similar accolades.
