Covid-19: Clarity on government support available to you
Following our recent blog posts and emails on government assistance for employees and the self-employed, and questions we’ve received, we clarify the uncertainties in a distilled guide on who’s eligible for government support during the Covid-19 outbreak, and what to do next.
We’ve created a graphic for each group: employees and the self-employed.
However, please note that neither Frame 25 nor Pay 25 are specialists in employment law and the information here is for guidance only. It’s also based on Pay 25’s policies, so if you work through an umbrella company, they may be able to advise you according to your specific circumstances and relationship with them.

Self-employed and not eligible for the SEISS? Apply for a business interruption loan:
- Access to loans, overdrafts, invoice finance and asset finance of up to £5 million for up to six years
- The government could also give you a Business Interruption Payment to cover the first 12 months of interest and fees on the loan.
- The scheme is now open for applications, and is offered by all major banks
